Salyan is the remote village in west Nepal. Salyan, the origination of salyani khukuri continues to make the original classic model(version) that has started . In historic days when the then army required khukuri for battles. One of the major producers of khukuries during the 18th and 19th centuries wars. Blade of salyani is very unique and distinctive with patterns all along the panel of blade .The blade is semi curved .The bevel of the knife is also much bigger compared to other khukuri. This long elongated deep bevel would facilitate a sharp and sleek edge to inflict deep and deadly cut.
